In the context of the constituency relationship, and Armenia being a partner country for Development Cooperation for the Dutch Government, the Netherlands has provided assistance to Armenia via central budget lines of the Ministries in The Hague as well as with the delegated funds portfolio managed by the Embassy in Tbilisi.

Bilateral Assistance
In view of the constituency relationship, stimulating good economic governance has been a priority in the support of the Netherlands to Armenia from the beginning. The Multi Annual Strategic Plan (MASP) as well as further elaboration of the Embassy’s strategies in 2006 point towards a need for a gradual shift of emphasis from good economic governance into good economic and good political governance.
Multilateral Assistance
In addition to the bilateral assistance managed by the Embassy, central budget lines from the Ministries (POBB, TMF / MFS, Stability Funds, etc) in The Hague have been committed to multilateral assistance and to (international) organisations.
